This race benefits Kari Clark. She is a Forsyth County native that has been fighting breast cancer for 6 years. Kari’s husband, Matt, has been a Forsyth County firefighter for 18 years. They have three girls ages 11, 8 and 6. Along with the trials of fighting breast cancer, Matt’s truck was recently stolen from the hospital’s parking lot. Many local news sources including the AJC have covered their story.
