Disney Decisions … with help from a Disney Travel Expert
There is nothing more magical than a Disney vacation with your family! But deciding what to do and where to go can be a daunting task. So which do you choose – a Disney World resort vacation or a Disney cruise?
While both offer the Disney experience we expect and enjoy, each type of vacation has its advantages and that’s what we’ve been exploring this week!
Food, food and more food!
More than 100 restaurants operate within Walt Disney World, including about 70 full-service restaurants, 26 of which are inside the theme parks. Collectively, Disney restaurants offer exceptional variety, serving everything from Moroccan to Texas barbecue. And this does not include the variety of restaurants just outside the Disney property! Disney World packages can include a variety of dining plans as well. From full service meals to character dining experiences to quick snacks, there are plenty of options. Plus at the parks you can bring your own non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and meals as well.
Disney Cruise Line dining is sure to satisfy the appetites of your entire family as well and the best news is that meals are included in your cruise fare! There are wonderful prepared dishes made available 24 hours a day. Featuring diverse menus inspired by some of the world’s most intriguing destinations, and restaurants that are distinctly themed and brimming with charm and outstanding service.
On the cruise ships dining includes dining each night in one of the various restaurants (families rotate to a different restaurant each night), casual dining, adult-exclusive dining and quick service meals. Unlimited sodas and non-alcoholic drinks as well. And best of all – no reservations needed (except for the adult-exclusive restaurants).
TIP: For Disney World dining you can book your dining reservations 180 days in advance and is recommended for character dining and specialty dining venues.
