Disney Decisions … with help from a Disney Travel Expert

There is nothing more magical than a Disney vacation with your family! But deciding what to do and where to go can be a daunting task. So which do you choose – a Disney World resort vacation or a Disney cruise?
While both offer the Disney experience we expect and enjoy, each type of vacation has its advantages and that’s what we’re exploring this week!

Character Appearances

Meeting Disney characters is an integral part of a Disney vacation for many families. At the Disney parks and on a Disney cruise there are plenty of opportunities for character meet and greets throughout the day and evening. Check the daily entertainment log onboard or the daily park schedule to see what is in store.
At the parks the characters can be found in the parades and stage shows, designated spots and sometimes just surprise you as well. On the cruise there is a wonderful Princess morning where at least four princesses make an appearance together in the main atrium area. It is one of the busiest meet and greets of the cruise! The cruise line does offer a bit more access to a variety of characters and in smaller environments making it easier for families.
Regardless of the destination, there will be no short supply of opportunities to meet your favorite characters!
Tip: The character photographers will take pictures for you on your own camera as well. Sometimes the professional photos turn out better as they catch that smile and sometimes your camera does.
