Dine to Donate for the Walkup Family
You can help the Walkup Family by simply eating at Good Grub Subs! It’s a dine to donate event on Saturday, November 2nd. In case you haven’t heard, on the afternoon of Saturday October 12th the Walkup family lost their house to a fire.
Rachael is our regular writer here at Cumming Local. She just started with us at the beginning of the school year but I’ve said before – if you’ve done anything this fall from seeing it on our website it’s because Rachael wrote about it! And her husband Greg is a school teacher at Kelly Mill Elementary.
Well Alan, owner of Good Grub Subs, is stepping in to help out! Good Grub Subs is donating 20% of all sales on Saturday, November 2nd from 11am to 8pm to the Walkup Family! The money raised will help them make a fresh start in a new home here in Forsyth County.
It’s a great, easy way to help out a local family. One that means a lot to Cumming Local too!
And be sure to give a big thanks to Good Grubs too – that’s an awesome definition of a small, locally owned business!!
