New Weekly Specials At Nido Cafe That You Must Experience Often

Recently, I did a poll on my instagram account asking readers to share with me their favorite place to go on a date. It was almost unanimous for Nido Cafe, located right here in Vickery Village of Forsyth County. We really are so lucky to have such a fantastic place to go to anytime we want. It’s not just for date nights. It is the perfect place for friends or couples to gather. We also have taken our kids and they enjoyed it as well! Most of us only think about Nido for coffee and breakfast. But their lunch and dinner offerings are exceptional as well.

Have you heard of the fabulous new weekly specials at Nido Cafe? If not, please let us enlighten you! There are 6 things you need to know that’s new at Nido for June. And we hope you will take advantage of these excellent specials.

  1. New Summer Hours: Nido Cafe has instituted some new summer hours. And they are effective immediately. The new schedule is: Sunday to Wednesday 7:30am–2:30pm, Thursday–Saturday 7:30–9:30pm.
  2. Thirsty Thursdays: Every Thursday starting at 7pm, you will be able to listen to live music from Billy Wilkie on jazz guitar. Also during this time, Nido offers their excellent Sangria pitchers for two on sale for $6!
  3. FUNdue Fridays: All famous fondues, both cheese and chocolate are half price. Friday is the ideal time to grab some wine and fondue. {Please note – this offer is available from 2:30-9:30pm}
  4. Seafood Saturdays: All seafood items are half price all day. Some of our favorite seafood items on their menu are Crab & Avocado Salad, Crab Cakes, Smoked Salmon Salad, or the Seafood Paella. {Please note – this offer is available from 2:30-9:30pm}
  5. Special Events & Parties: Wednesday evenings will now be reserved for special events – look for info coming soon on wine tastings, wine and cheese pairings and much more! You can also use the evenings they are not open to the public to reserve Nido for your own private party. This means it’s available Sunday – Wednesday afternoons and evenings! (Please note: semi-private parties during our regular business hours may also be available.) Click here for details on holding your event at Nido.
  6. New Food Items: One of my favorite things about Nido is that they are constantly adding new items to their fabulous menu! This month it includes: Shrimp Ceviche, Smoked Salmon Salad, BLT, Coffee Ice Cream Pie. How fabulous do all of those sound? Now the real question is which do you try first?

Those new weekly specials at Nido have me wanting to go on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Ha! Ha! But I’m serious! Also, I will say If you have never been to Nido Cafe for a dinner service, I do recommend you try it out. My husband and I had a great experience dining on the patio. More About Nido Cafe:

We all like to eat. Not just eat though, we like to escape and feel like we have left the country for a few hours. Food and wine can take you on a journey. We like that journey. It makes us happy when Atlanta traffic gets us down. So we look for a place to roll in, tell stories that likely aren’t true and laugh until its time to go home. So we built this place because we want to hang out here. Somewhere cool.
At Nido you can experience something different and cool. So – come for breakfast and have a strawberry, basil and brie sandwich. Or maybe come for lunch and have lobster stuffed mushroom caps and a Spanish white wine. You could also come for dinner and have lamb lollypops with a red wine from Rioja that makes your toes curl. Or maybe just maybe you want hot ooey gooey chocolate chip cookies with a shot of ice cold milk. The point is you just need to get here for one reason or another. Once you get here you will understand what its all about. We can wait to serve you!
