About The North Fulton Mothers of Multiples Club:
The North Fulton Mothers of Multiples Club (NFMOMC) is a non-profit organization that promotes interest, provides education and gives support to parents and expectant parents of multiple births. The club is based in the northern suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia.
The club was organized in September 1989 by Betsy Booth and then joined the National Organization of Mothers of Twins in February 1990. Our group was first called the North Fulton Mothers of Twins Club. Recognizing the fact that the club supports many families with triplets and more, the club changed its name to The North Fulton Mothers of Multiples Club in January 2002. Currently, the North Fulton Mothers of Multiples Club recognizes a partnership of support with Multiples of America (formerly known as National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs).
The club began with five members but today there are over 170 members in the Atlanta area, including many sets of triplets, quadruplets, members having multiple multiples, and even members who are twins themselves! The goal of the club is to provide support and assistance through monthly meetings, e-mails, newsletters, and support groups. We provide many opportunities for meeting other parents of multiples and forming lasting friendships including organized events and outings for children, family parties and outings just for moms.
