Back to School supplies are out – it’s inevitable … the new school year is coming! And for once the annual Georgia Tax Free Weekend actually falls BEFORE school starts in Forsyth County!
The 2014 Tax Free Weekend in Georgia falls on August 1st – 2nd this year.
As with any good deal, there are definitely some restrictions but you’ll be tax exempt on most clothing & footwear (with a sales price of $100 or less per item), a single purchase of personal computers & computer related accessories (with a sales price of $1000 or less), and general school supplies (with a sales price of $20 or less per item).
