Featured Summer Camp:  Summer Dance Camps at Dance Now

We’re excited to partner with Dance Now to help share their summer programs with all of you.
Dance Now, located in the Mardi Gras Plaza across from the Midway Meal House, has a packed summer of fun and dance!  Summer Camps, Classes, and even Intensives for further training – you’ll have plenty of options for all kinds of dance!

Summer Dance Camps

Camp:  Pretty Princess Ballet Camp
Location:  Dance Now
Dates:  June 9th – 12th and July 14th – 17th
Times:  9am to 10am
Ages:  3 to 4yrs
Cost:  $55 per session
Pretty Princess Camp Description:  Girls will enjoy this week filled with dance, dress up, crafts, and stories. Each day our youngest dancers will learn about a different fairytale ballet. At the end of the session dancers can bring their favorite princess costume and wear it when they show off their best Pretty Princess dance. Camp:  Fairytale Dance Camp
Location:  Dance Now
Dates:  June 9th -12th and July 14th – 17th
Times:  10am to 1pm
Ages:  5 to 8yrs
Cost:  $150 per session
Fairytale Camp Description:  Your dancer will explore dance through the use of different well known children’s stories. Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard Of Oz are just some of the stories that we will be using in this fun and inventive camp. Students will learn Musical Theater, Ballet and Tap choreography and will do a brief performance at the end of the camp session. Dancers will need to bring lunch and a drink. Camp:  Divas & Rock Stars Camp
Location:  Dance now
Dates:  June 23rd – 26th and July 21st – 24th
Times:  10am to 1pm
Cost:  $150 per session
Divas & Rock Stars Camp Description:  Girls and boys will enjoy this camp for Divas and Rock Stars. Dancing, sing-a-longs and really cool hair. Campers are encouraged to dress up in their best Diva and Rock Star attire (dance comfortable of course). During the camp we will put together our very own music video while learning Hip Hop, Jazz and Tap choreography. At the end of the session our Divas and Rock Stars will show off their awesome dance skills as well as their really cool hair. (Tap shoes are NOT required, but welcome.)  Click here for more information

Summer Camp Intensives

Camp:  I Want it All!  Junior Intensives (ages 8-12)
Location:  Dance Now
Dates:  June 9th – 12th and July 14th – 17th
Times:  10am to 1pm
Ages:  8yrs to 12yrs
Cost:  $150 per session
I Want it All!  Junior Intensives Camp Description:  Does your dancer want to do it all? Well here is their chance to try it all. Students will get to learn technique as well as choreography in many different dance styles. In this camp students will learn Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Leaps & Turns, Ballet and Tap. If your dancer is new to dance or a seasoned dancer that wants to try something new this is the camp for them. Dancers will need to bring lunch and a drink.  Click here for more information

Camp:  Mini Junior Intensives (ages 8-12)
Location:  Dance Now
Dates:  Six Sessions Available from June to July
Times:  T – Th 6pm to 7:30pm
Ages:  8yrs to 12yrs
Cost:  $55 per session
Mini Junior Intensives Description:  This intensive is great for younger dancers that want to continue their dance training throughout the summer as well as try new genres of dance. Each day will consist of technique and choreography and each week focuses on a different set of genres. This intensive works well with our “I Want It All! Junior Intensive” as a continuation of training or as a stand alone intensive for dancers that are otherwise occupied during the day.  Click here for more information

Summer Classes
