Hosted by Pediatrician Hiral Lavania, MD of One Family Pediatrics
Dr. Lavania has launched this health service campaign to help parents find pediatric healthcare providers across specialties. The Kid Care Expo is the first event of its kind in Forsyth County. Both primary care physicians and specialists will be at this event to meet with parents about the healthcare needs of their children. Special therapist such as speech-language pathologists, nutritionists, lactation consultants, physical therapists, and occupational therapists are also included at this event.
“Parents want health care services but find it difficult to research, meet, and interview every healthcare provider their child may need. The Kid Care Expo will provide them a chance to do all these things at once,” Lavania says. The event is also an opportunity to learn about health challenges from head lice and ear infections to health issues facing special needs children and learning differences. The Kid Care Expo will have a variety of experts speaking on the Education Stage throughout the event.
Some of the healthcare providers and facilities that will be represented include Northside Hospital, One Family Pediatrics, Oasis Lactation Services, Pediatric ENT of Atlanta, Building Bridges Therapy, ReClif Academy, The Marcus Autism Center, Dare 2 Care Pediatrics, and Sharon Springs Dental.
