Start Mother’s Day weekend off right by tasting what this town has to offer at the 5th Annual Flavors of Forsyth, presented by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta! Bring your family, especially mom, to spend Saturday evening sampling delicious appetizers, entrées and desserts from local restaurants.
This festival of food will benefit nonprofit organizations and programs throughout our community. Last year, United Way of Forsyth County provided $1,188,543 in funds to almost 60 programs and initiatives in the community, providing services to thousands.
Jam out to The GLOW Band on the main stage, sponsored by The Collection at Forsyth or visit the Artists Market and take a peek at work from local artists. Have children? Don’t miss out on the fantastically fun Kids Zone with face painting, inflatables, hamster balls, Mother’s Day Arts & Crafts and more!
While patrons enjoy their tasty treats, they can watch talented artists as they compete in the 2nd Annual Chalk Walk Competition. For adults…challenge your palette in the Tasting room inside the Forsyth Conference Center, sponsored by Jax & Norman’s Landing (must be 21 and provide a photo ID).
Local chefs will participate in contests for Best Appetizer/Salad, Best Fast Dining Entrée, Best Casual Dining Entrée, Best Fine Dining Entrée, Best Dessert and Best Booth. Guests can also vote for their favorite restaurant to be the Flavors of Forsyth People’s Choice winner at the United Way Tent. Young festival-goers can vote for Kid’s Choice Award winner at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta tent.

United Way of Forsyth County works to advance the common good by focusing on education, income, health and basic needs. These are the building blocks for a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement and good health. It takes everyone working together. Because underneath everything we are, underneath everything we do, we are all connected, interdependent, united. And when we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all. We all win when a child succeeds in school, when a family becomes financially stable, when people have good health. We all LIVE UNITED.
