Challenge Club Presents 5K Fun Run for Erica Baker

North Atlanta Challenge Club Girls unite to host a 5K Fun Run for Erica Baker, a young Cumming resident who suffers with mitochondrial disease, an incurable illness.

Even though Erica has a mitochondrial disease, nothing can wipe the engaging smile that runs from corner to corner of her joyful countenance. Every day she struggles harder than most to speak, to learn, and yes, even to eat. Her constant companion of late is an IV pole which is hooked up 14 to 24 hours a day, infusing nutrition into her body.
The 5K Fun Run/Walk will take place on October 28 at 2:30pm at Creekstone Estates (just east of The Avenue Forsyth), starting at the clubhouse. All are invited to run/walk or sponsor a runner.
