Back to School Sales are in full swing, but there *might* be a reason to wait on some things until after school starts.
Now the reason I say you “might” want to wait is because:
1. The tax free weekend in Georgia falls AFTER school starts in Forsyth County- August 10-11, 2012.
And 2. I remember shopping this weekend in the past & it was pretty crazy!!
There are definitely some restrictions but you’ll be tax exempt on most clothing & footwear (with a sales price of $100 or less per item), a single purchase of personal computers & computer related accessories (with a sales price of $1000 or less), and general school supplies (with a sales price of $20 or less per item).

A big thanks to our friend at Coupons are Great for the tip off … visit her site for LOTS of “Back to School” Deals!

Your post says it is August 11-12. If you read the document you included from the Department of Revenue, is states that the sale will “commence at 12:01 A.M. on August 10, 2012, and conclude at 12:00 Midnight on August 11, 2012″. That means the sale is the 10th-11th
Thanks for the catch Valerie … you’re exactly right! I just corrected it. Thanks again! ~ Mandi
