SUMMARY:Paint Recycling event at South Forsyth High School
DESCRIPTION:Now that the holidays are over and we are all cleaning and organizing\, it is a great time to dispose of all of those half-empty cans of paint taking up space in the basement or garage. Many paints are considered household hazardous waste because they contain chemicals that can be harmful to humans\, animals\, and the environment. Because leftover paint is flammable and poisonous\, it should always be disposed of safely and should never be placed in the trash or poured down the drain.\nFoCoCure\, which is a team of local high school students whose mission is to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by hosting events that raise awareness\, will be hosting a Paint Recycling Fundraiser this Saturday at South Forsyth High School from 10am to 2pm. They will be accepting old paint for a fee\, which will then be taken to be recycled or disposed of properly by Atlanta Paint Disposal. Please note that we are only able to accept latex paint\, oil-based canned paint\, and spray paint.\nPlease come out and support this awesome event!
