Paws to Read gives patrons of all ages the opportunity to read and relax with a certified therapy dog while improving literacy skills. Participants sign up at the door for 15-minute sessions. Advance registration is not required. For grades kindergarten and up.

Join us twice a month to knit or crochet a different project that we will donate to local Forsyth County charities. Please bring your own knitting or crochet needles. Yarn is provided. Educate and entertain your preschooler at the library! Join us each Friday for thematic stories, songs, hands-on preschool play, and STEAM based learning designed to promote early literacy, school readiness, and social and cognitive development. This program is for children ages 3-5 with a caregiver. Registration is not required; space is limited.
