DESCRIPTION:In the midst of a momentous fall at Halcyon\, the recently opened mixed-use development in Forsyth County\, is hosting Hello Halcyon\, an unforgettable weekend full of seasonally inspired festivities and family-friendly events held Friday\, Oct. 25 through Sunday\, Oct. 27\,  as well as An Intimate Evening with Everclear and Fastball (TICKETED). \nHello Halcyon will kick off Friday\, Oct. 25 with free lawn games and live music between 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. from Forsyth County’s own Caroline Reilly Music\, the sensational 16-year-old contestant for “The Voice” in the Village Green. Leading up to the ticketed concert on Saturday\, Halcyon will host Halcyon Harvest\, a fall festival-inspired day of family-friendly activities\, Instagrammable moments\, entertainment and more from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.\, with live music beginning at 11 a.m. A game day lounge will also be activated for football enthusiasts to cheer on their favorite college teams. The first 100 guests to arrive at Halcyon Harvest will receive a complimentary swag bag.  \nIn celebration of Halcyon’s connection to the Big Creek Greenway\, the weekend of festivities will round out on Sunday with a family fun day dedicated to sports\, health and wellness. The schedule of events on Sunday will take place from noon to 4 p.m. and include activities such as Atlanta Hawks basketball throws\, bungee jump\, fast pitch contest\, a Velcro wall\, hamster ball relay races\, stilt walkers\, corn hole tournament\, a putting green and more. Expect special guests such as Falcons cheerleaders\, high school cheer teams and other athlete appearances.  \nSeveral sponsors for Hello Halcyon will also pop up on both Saturday and Sunday with additional swag and activities\, including the event’s Premiere Sponsors\, Embassy Suites by Hilton at Halcyon\, Elan Halcyon and Everleigh Halcyon Village. \nFree parking is available in the parking deck adjacent to CMX Cinemas and police and traffic directors will be onsite to guide visitors. Guests are also encouraged to use rideshare services as onsite parking will be limited. \nThroughout the weekend\, people can sip\, stroll and shop their way around the diverse mix of restaurants and retailers at Halcyon. Formed by Alexakis in 1991 in Portland\, Oregon\, Everclear has enjoyed a lengthy career spanning 11 studio releases\, numerous videos\, thousands of shows and accolades that include a 1998 Grammy nomination for their album “So Much for the Afterglow.” \nFastball was formed in Austin\, Texas in 1995. In 1998\, their album “All the Pain That Money Can Buy” reached platinum status within six months of its release\, stayed on the Billboard 200 chart for a year\, and was nominated for two Grammy Awards. \nTime: Doors open at 6:30 p.m.\, concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Concert is rain or shine. \nAge restriction: This is an over 21 show.
