DESCRIPTION:Charles “Doc” Self will explore the basics of the plant\, including its history and development and its status in American gardens today. Learn which ones to get and which ones to avoid\, where to get them\, how to plant and care for them\, and how to share them with your friends\, family\, and fellow gardeners. Participants will receive take-home materials with basic terminology\, resource websites\, and planting and care instructions. \nCharles Self is a “recovering” lawyer\, retired in 2016\, and a practicing Master Gardener. He currently serves on the board of the Daylily Society of Greater Atlanta\, and his local personal garden contains approximately 180 separate varieties of daylilies\, which are presently in bloom.
