Mother-Son Date Knight

Chick-fil-A is throwing another date night – and this time it’s for the moms & sons!

When:  Saturday, April 28th
Where:  Participating Chick-fil-A Locations

So, what’s a date night at Chick-fil-A?  Basically it’s just dinner at Chick-fil-A, but more importantly it’s a special night set aside for a special relationship.  And I love that Chick-fil-A encourages this!

Each location will will have a limited number of reservations.  Reservations open Saturday, April 14th and you must make your reservation online.  There is no admission for the event.  The only fee involved is whatever you & your son(s) chooose to order from the menu.

You can dress up or stay casual, make a night of it & go to a movie as well or just enjoy dinner together.

Just have fun & celebrate your special son!

The new Chick-fil-A kid meals have been out for a little while now.  Has anyone tried the grilled nuggets?  Or maybe more importantly have your kids?  I think it’s a great option – one more nutritious choice to have!  Will I always make that choice … no, not always.  Gosh there’s just something about that fried nugget that Chick-fil-A has perfected so well it’s hard to pass up!!

But the cool thing is that with the gorgeous weather we have, it’s the perfect time & opportunity to pair up a healthier fast food kid’s meal with some good family fun!  Spring is a perfect time to promote an active lifestyle and the great outdoors is the perfect place to enjoy some family games!

Chick-fil-A wants to know what are some of your favorite – even old school games – to enjoy as a family? Chick-fil-A: Daddy-Daughter Date Night

Daddy-Daughter Date Night:

The Fish Atlanta Radio (104.7) and Chick-fil-A are once again bringing us the “Daddy-Daughter Date Night“.  If you haven’t participated in this event before, it’s a fun night for Dad’s to take their daughters out.  It’s a fun way to enjoy  a little daddy-daughter time and Dad has a great opportunity to show his daughter how she should be treated on a date – whether she’s 3 or 16!

Both Cumming, GA locations have the event on their calendars.

If you’re like me, you LOVE getting the new Chick-fil-A Calendar each year!  Not only are they usually pretty nice looking and a good, quality size, but most importantly they have awesome coupons inside!  But the one thing better than buying one, is winning one!  And I’m excited to have a new 2012 Calendar to give to one of you.

The other thing I love about Chick-fil-A (besides their chicken, the wonderful milk shakes, their lemonade, and the fact that they have Dt. Dr Pepper as a drink option) is the prize in the Kid’s Meal.  My kids love the books that they usually offer – they are perfect for car entertainment.  One of my family’s recent favorites was the Veggie Tales CDs – we all loved those!  And I have a feeling my kids will really like the next thing coming out too – cow watches!

Free Chick-fil-A Breakfast Entree

From September 6 – 10, 2001, participating Chick-fil-A restaurants are giving away a variety of FREE breakfast entrees to customers who make a reservation online!

If a Chick-fil-A “reservation” is new to you – no worries!  It’s very easy – you just pick the location, time & date that you want your free entree.  They have done this in the past when introducing new items like the Spicy Chicken Sandwich & Spicy Biscuit.

To make your reservation, visit the “Chick-fil-A Free Breakfast Entree” website beginning Monday, August 29th and choose your preferred restaurant, date, time & entree!

Then bring your printed copy to the check out counter … and enjoy!  Not sure if the Forsyth County locations will be participating, but they usually do with these promotions, so here’s hoping.

We’ll make sure to send a reminder (because we want to remind ourselves too)!

Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day

It’s that time of year again!  Cow Appreciation Day is here.

Visit Chick-fil-A on Friday, July 8th, fully dressed as a cow & you’ll receive a free combo meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner).

What does “fully dressed as a cow” really mean?  It means you muse show effort from head to toe!  Get the kids involved because they can earn a free Kid’s Meal as well.

Here are some ideas (from the Chick-fil-A Website):
  • Start with items that you already have at home – cow-printed accessories stashed in your closet will work perfectly. Hats, vests, scarves, neckties, pants, shoes, pajamas – just abut any cow-spotted item will work. Just make sure you’re covered head to toe.
  • Wear white, and then just add spots. Throw on a white T-shirt with white pants (even sweatpants) and stick on your spots using black contact paper. If contact paper is not easily accessible, you can cut spots out of construction paper and tape them to your shirt and pants. If nothing else, you can grab an old white T-shirt and color black spots all over it with a magic marker – and you’ll still get a free entrée.
  • Go to your local paint or hardware store and get a white painter’s hat and overalls. And then decorate yourself with spots made out of contact or construction paper.
  • Not feeling too creative and want an easy costume? Search the Internet for “cow costumes” and you will be flooded with full-body costumes available for purchase. (And hey, you’ll be set for Halloween, too).

Are you a Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken Fan?

If so, this is for you!

If you haven’t already heard, Chick-fil-A is preparing to introduce a Spicy Chicken Biscuit to jump start your breakfast.   It won’t be added to the menu until Monday, January 10th but they’re giving you the opportunity to try it one week early.  For FREE!!

Here’s the catch though, it’s “an exclusive premier tasting” so you must “reserve” your biscuit – how’s that for super fancy marketing?!

It’s easy though and I remember doing this when they introduced the Spicy Sandwich & there were no strings attached.  You reserve a biscuit & they’ll give you one for free!

Just visit the www.GetSpicyChicken.com website, enter your zip code, select the store you’d like to eat your FREE biscuit at and then select the day!

Reservations are available January 3rd – 8th and then the Spicy Chicken Biscuit will be available to anyone on January 10th.

But be sure to snag your reservation now.  Quantities are limited!
