Labor Day Weekend in Forsyth County

Who’s ready for a 3-day weekend?!? There are several fun things going on around Forsyth County this long weekend.

Here’s a few things on our list:

FRIDAY: Take the family out for Friday Night Lights at a High School Football Game. For schedules at the Forsyth County High Schools, click here.
FRIDAY – SUNDAY: IPRA World Championship Rodeo – Pull out your cowboy / cowgirl boots & head over to the Cumming Fairgrounds. Friday & Saturday @ 8pm, Sunday @ 7pm (Tickets for sale 2 hrs. prior to showtime) Ticket Prices – $15 for Adults, $10 for Ages 5-12 and 4 & under FREE. Click here for more information
SATURDAY – MONDAY: Saturday is opening day for Buford Corn Maze (Open Noon–10pm on Saturday & Sunday and 10am-7pm on Monday). They have a kid’s play area, activities, concessions, and much more! You can learn more by visiting their website.
MONDAY: Labor Day Doughnut Dash 5k/10k/Half Marathon– Join North GA Running Company for a morning of fun & fitness. The race will start and finish at Dutch Monkey Doughnuts. Proceeds from the event are going to the Rally Foundation (Childhood Cancer Research). For more information on this foundation, visit their website. Click here for more race information.
MONDAY: Unlimited Play at Stars & Strikes – For $9.99 a person, you can pick a package (either unlimited bowling and free show rental or unlimited video game play) and play from open to close! Click here for more details. 
MONDAY: LaBOOr Day Halloween DIY Camp – From 10am-Noon, the kids will be making all sorts of Halloween DIY related crafts to add to your decor! Cumming Aquatic Center – This will be the last weekend that the aquatic center will be open. Click here for more information.
