Labor Day Weekend in Forsyth County

Who’s ready for a 3-day weekend?!? There are several fun things going on around Forsyth County this long weekend.
Here’s a few things on our list:
FRIDAY: Take the family out for Friday Night Lights at a High School Football Game. For schedules at the Forsyth County High Schools, click here.
FRIDAY: Family Fun Night at Tiny Towne from 5pm-8pm. $3.99 admission fee that includes salad and a pizza buffet. If you have a Tiny Towne permit or ID then the pizza buffet will be FREE. Click here to read about our experience with Tiny Towne.
FRIDAY – SUNDAY: IPRA World Championship Rodeo – Pull out your cowboy / cowgirl boots & head over to the Cumming Fairgrounds. September 2nd – 4th, Friday @ 8pm, Saturday @ 8pm, Sunday @ 7pm (Tickets for sale 2 hrs. prior to showtime) Ticket Prices – $15 for Adults, $10 for Ages 5-12 and 4 & under FREE. SATURDAY – MONDAY: Labor Day Special at Tiny Towne – if you spend $45 you get a free booster pizza, if you spend $55 you get a free large pizza. Click here to read about our experience with Tiny Towne.
SATURDAY through MONDAY: Saturday is opening day for Buford Corn Maze (They will be open Noon – 10pm). They are also open on Sunday(Open Noon – 10 pm) and Monday (Open 10am-7pm). They have a Kids Corner, play area, activities, concessions, and much more! You can learn more by visiting their website.
SATURDAY through MONDAY: 5 cents for a PIZZA! – Hungry Howie’s (5485 Bethelview Rd) is running a Labor Day special, customers can purchase a medium one topping pizza for 5 cents when they buy a large pizza with one or more toppings. Click here for more information.
MONDAY: Labor Day Doughnut Dash 5k/10k/Half Marathon– Join North GA Running Company for a morning of fun & fitness. The race will start and finish at Dutch Monkey Doughnuts. MONDAY: Kids Eat Free at Lenny’s Subs – 1040 Market Place Blvd. Kids eat free with the purchase of a sub and drink. For kids 12 ands under.
MONDAY: 25th Anniversary at Country Land Golf Course from 7am-8pm -A round of golf will be $25.Golf course staff will be grilling lunch on our deck. Hot dogs will be $0.25, chips $0.25 and a soda $0.25 – the entire meal for less than a dollar! Come enjoy our excellent view and visit with other golf lovers in the community. Cumming Aquatic Center – This will be the last weekend that the aquatic center will be open. For more information click here.
