About Kenneth:

Kenneth Stewar

Kenneth Stewart III, 11, was diagnosed with medulloblastoma brain cancer in November 2008. He underwent surgery to remove 1 of 3 tumors and endured extensive chemo and radiation treatments. After much determination, his MRI results were free and clear in March 2010. Life returned to normal, Kenneth went back to school full time and continued playing baseball! On March 29, 2011 Kenneth’s MRI results were far from what we had hoped for… the cancer had returned in the brain and spine. After 1 year of aggressive treatment, the tumor began to grow at a rapid pace. MRI results in April 2012 showed not only 1 tumor continuing to grow, but 7 more seed tumors where the original tumors had formed in 2008. Another MRI in June 2012 showed substantial growth as well as a new tumor forming on the spine. The entire medical team at Scottish Rite has prepared Kenneth and the family for the road ahead, roughly 6 short months.  The family continues to stay positive and willing to persevere along yet another journey they have been presented with. Let’s all join in and help this family make their journey a little easier!

The family wants to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers!
