Girl’s Night Out: Wrap-Up AND a Giveaway

Update:  This giveaway is now closed.  Thank you all for entering (and for your awesome suggestions too)!  Congratulations to J. Ray – winner who was selected via Random.org.  She has been contacted via email.

Cumming Local Girl's Night Out

Last Thursday evening a group of Cumming Local readers descended on downtown Cumming for a Girl’s Night Out!!  Just what most of us needed at the half-way point of summer!

We enjoyed facials & skin scope consultations by the Licensed Aestheticians at Skin Solutions Skincare Studio along with a fun night Market 334.  Both stores are located just off the Cumming Square & in my opinion are hidden little gems!

We were also treated to delicious food, courtesy of Mia’s Pizza & Eats and Creations Bakery.  And we rode in style (and stayed dry) thanks to limo service provided by Sweet & Sassy Forsyth Avenue.

If you have yet to visit any of these businesses, I highly recommend you do so!

Thanks to all our wonderful sponsors for the event, we had a FABULOUS time!  We were pampered, we shopped, we enjoyed great food, giveaways & swag.

Speaking of swag – I have great news for you.  Even if you missed our Girl’s Night Out, you have the opportunity to win one of the bags from the event.  This bag is FULL of great offers, discounts & goodies from local businesses that we love.  And I’m sure you will too.

Great video… It would be awesome to raffle off a massage or facial for all the MNO participates!

    • mandi says:

Hey Leslie! We love massages & facials too – we’ve actually given away several of those already. Both just on our website for anyone to win & also live at events too. Stay tuned for more in the future!

Just found your site, I think it is great! I am intrigued to learn what your upcoming newsletters have to offer. Since I haven’t heard of Cumming local or the GNO events it would be nice to have streaming videos of the event in action. Ultimately allowing us that are learning about you can see the event in action as it unfolds as well as the genuine interactions of the sponsors with the ladies. It is always great to hear LIVE reactions of “product / service placements” for us to properly gauge if we would like to call on the sponsors ourselves.

    • mandi says:

      Hey Sandy,
Our newsletters are sent out every morning at approximately 7:30am with any new information posted the previous night. It’s a great way to make sure you don’t miss anything but also not be annoyed b/c it’s just one email! Streaming video would be fun … maybe one day! I’m going to guess you’re in marketing??

      • sandy marchman califf says:

        Hi Mandi-
YES I AM! How could you tell?? LOL. That is why I ask – a lot of people offer newsletter but usually regurgitated information and I subscribe to many to try and keep the pulse of what is happening locally and regionally.

Thanks for your response. I love your site and best of success. And hey it doesn’t take that much to have a few clips of events. Ask the attendees to run a couple of minutes and allow a way for them to post!!! Great way for prospective investors to your endeavors to have a birds eye view of real readers in an interactive format.

Take care – hope to meet you soon.
        Sandy

Even though I’ve never been too one, I think having a bunch of local business to promote what they have offer for children, family’s or for a couples night out. Even though it’s for women I’d love to find out more about things to do with my family, kids and husband. Please do let me know when you plan to have the next I’d love to bring my friends.

    • mandi says:

Sounds good to me Lisa! I hope you can make a future one too. Best way not to miss the news or updates on our event is to subscribe to our newsletter, if you haven’t already. You’ll get one email each morning (if there’s new info posted on our site the night before) – I promise we’re not super annoying w/ multiple emails a thousand times a day! 7. Christina Korom says:

I wish I knew about this night it sounds like it would of been alot of fun. There are so many ideas that could be used for a girls night. I think manicure/pedicures would be fun or even something like a massage. I am really hoping to be able to go to next one!!

Awesome ideas/giveaway! One idea for a great girls night out is dinner and a show at Eddie Owen Presents at The Red Clay Theater in downtown Duluth. Best venue for music in town!!

  9. Christine Hunt says:

I was so bummed that I missed this, as I was in NY celebrating my 10 yr anniv! I soooo hope I win this, as I loooooove all these companies and always support local business! I love Heidi and Rebekah! ;-)

Definitely a massage!! Maybe a movie night?

  11. Marie Vayssier says:

Loved the GNO I went to. How about an actual class to try out as a group? Zumba, yoga, etc. Something fun to try with friends.

  12. Deanna Manley says:

A perfect Girls night out is bringing your friends together to enjoy eachothers company sharing new experiences, laughing and creating new lifelong memories that warm your heart and will always make you smile.

  13. I love Marie Vayssier’s idea: some sort of a hike, exercise class, or a dance workout sounds great!

  14. I haven’t been able to make it to one of your GNO events yet but hope to soon. I loved the idea that you did a few months ago with a night of vendor shopping, food, wine and door prizes and would love to see you have another one. I would be very interested in being a vendor for the evening with my hand-knitted unique scarves. Please check out and “like” my facebook page with photos of my scarves http://www.facebook.com/knittedfromtheheart.
I look forward to joining you soon for a fun-filled GNO!!

    !!!!

  16. Jodi Schanerman says:

Something outdoors, like Lake Lanier where we could enjoy the outdoors and each other!

  17. Kellie Kindberg says:

Would be great for a yoga painting pottery night. Of course food and drinks should be included.

  18. Jennifer Ray says:

I like the outdoors idea too. Havent been able to make it to a girls night out yet but really want to.

  19. Niki Farbotko says:

The best GNO that I’ve had is at the painting studios – I love those!

Our very first one was at a painting studio Niki – Glazed & Fired!! It was such a blast! We’ll have to do that one again soon.

  20. Gillette says:
