Purple Orchids, Survivors and Thrivers Brunch & Fundraiser

Women of Virtue Transitional Foundation is hosting the organization’s 2nd Annual Brunch & Fundraiser on October 28, 2017. This year the organization is recognizing Purple Orchids as a symbolic representation of the event which signifies royalty, respect, admiration, and dignity which are key attributes associated with the organization’s mission and purpose. The event will place emphasis on the various resources utilized to educate, empower, and encourage domestic violence survivors and their families. In addition, we will be introducing our new program Girls of Virtue Empowered (G.O.V. E).
Women of Virtue Transitional Foundation Inc. is pleased to share that Mr. Felix Da Katt Paul MC/Saxophonist Extraordinaire, Dr. Candice P. Lovett, Key Note Speaker, Ann Casas, Marsy’s Law for Georgia, Honoree/Speaker, PADV/Speaker, Minister Carla Sadler Compton, amazingly blessed and gifted vocalist, Multi-Award Winning Neo-Soul Artist, Simply T, vocalist, McKinzie Baker, Vocalist/Volunteer, Latoya Denise Wilson, Honoree/Ambassador, Sheila Bailey, Ambassador, Lisa Ann Pearce, Ambassador, and Jennifer Jordan, Ambassador will grace our Domestic Violence Awareness Event, Purple Orchids, Survivors and Thrivers, with their Grace, Education, Empowerment, Encouragement, and Talents on October 28, 2017 at the City of Norcross Cultural Arts Community Center. If you purchase your tickets between now and September 15th the fee is $40 pp.
The fee covers your brunch, a silent auction, entertainment, vending experience.

A portion of the funds obtained through the event will be donated to Family Promise of Gwinnett County – Salt Light Center to continue their outreach efforts!

Forsyth County Lions Club – Golf “Fore” Sight Charity Tournament
Oct 30 @ 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

A charity golf tournament to benefit Forsyth County Lions Charities, Inc., a 501(c)3 charitable arm of the Forsyth County Lions Club dedicated to providing sight, hearing, and family services to low-income Cumming-Forsyth County residents. Cost is $100.00 per player (incl. golf, range balls, and box lunch). Player registration deadline is October 20, 2017. Registration forms can be downloaded from

Happy, Not Hungry Golf Tournament
Oct 31 @ 9:00 am – 3:30 pm

Meals by Grace welcomes golfers to play 18 holes at Georgia’s premier Tom Watson-designed course. Registration fees will support food-insecure children & families in Forsyth and Dawson Counties. A foursome registration will feed a family of 6 for a month! Start time & breakfast at 9 AM, awards dinner at conclusion. Single players & hole sponsors also welcome.
