4th of July Activities in Cumming & Forsyth County

Celebrate 4th of July in Forsyth County

The City of Cumming is preparing for the city’s 4th of July Celebration!

The Celebration begins on July 3rd at 6:00 p.m. with various vendors including food and drink, inflatables for kids, a live band, fireworks display along with an all age dance contest following the fireworks. Bring your blanket, set out on the lawn and enjoy the festivities. There is no admission or parking fee for the July 3rd celebration!

On July 4th enjoy the famous Steam Engine Parade beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Parade will include steam engines, antique tractors, antique cars and many other floats. Following the Steam Engine Parade you can take a closer look at the steam engines, tractors and cars at the Fairgrounds.

9:30pm - Fireworks Show
10:00pm - Dance Contest (all ages)

Wednesday, July 4th

9:00am - Vendors Open For Sale (till 1:00pm)
10:00am - Parade Begins
Parade Ends at Fairgrounds At Approximately 12:00 Noon
1:00pm - Celebration Over

*Note: The fairgrounds, surrounding businesses and parking lots will start to fill up early. I definitely recommend packing up the car with blankets, folding chairs, snacks and even activities for the kids. Bring a little patience when finding a spot and when trying to leave, but I’d say it’s definitely worth attending & enjoying with your family!
