Earlier this year I had the opportunity to meet members of the Public Relations team for Hallmark while away at a conference in Nashville. They recently contacted me about offering a giveaway and I was really excited to work with them for two reasons – 1) the giveaway would be JUST for kids! Most of the giveaways we’ve done so far have been enjoyed by adults, so I was really happy that we’d have something just for the kids! And 2) the giveaway was for something that my children already love, so I figured yours would too!!
If you shop at the local Hallmark, you’re probably familiar with the new line of Interactive Storybooks & Story Buddies. First, there was Cooper – the lovable bear. And now, there’s Watson – the adorable raccoon! And if you’re not familiar with the line, it’s a simple but really fun concept! We have Watson (the adorably cute Raccoon)! As I read one of Watson’s books to my children, Watson will chime in and “talk” when I read key phrases from his story! Both my five & two year old just love it! The two year old, especially, lights up when Watson starts talking! Plus she likes to carry him around and pretend he’s her pet – ha!
With each key phrase, Watson has about four interactive sayings – so the stories don’t get old and I think the kids might think he’s saying something different every time! Plus there’s three story books to go with Watson. So you can start out buying one or purchase all the stories for more reading fun!

I collected Raccoons when I was little so it is my favorite animal. Now my daughter, Jessica, who just turned 6, is taking over my collection. She would love to add this to “her” collection. Since she is in Kindergarten and is just starting to read books on her own, Watson, would be a great companion when reading a book.
